12. How much money will I need to carry in cash?

Despite what you might have heard about the current economic crisis in Greece, tourism has been untouched by the situation. The ATMs are working and access to cash through the normal processes are unaffected for tourists, so there is nothing to worry about.

13.What if I don’t want to visit the churches?

Byzantine Orthodox churches are more than places of worship; they are an integral part of Greek history, and as such, cannot be ignored. Of course, attending Mass on a Greek church will be included in the program only if you ask for it. We strongly suggest it both as a cultural and religious experience; it is perhaps the only opportunity to listen to Ancient Greek and attend a ritual which has remained unchanged for the last 2000 years.

14.Will I have internet access throughout the trip?

Yes, internet access is offered throughout the whole trip; nevertheless, the purpose of this trip is to re-establish face-to-face communication not only with the locals but also with your friends and relatives accompanying you on the trip. We feel that you will be so mesmerized by the natural beauty, the warm welcomes of the locals, and the ancient wonders so that, hopefully, you will only reach for your phone to.photograph your unique experiences  so you can post your Greek adventures online.

15.What about the diet we will follow?

During the trip, our aim is to allow you to experience Greek and Mediterranean Cuisine prepared by fine Greek restaurants but also made by the hands of locals, a rare experience for the casual tourist. If, for any reason, you have to follow a special diet, please let us know about it.

16.I do not speak any Greek. How will I be able to communicate with the locals?

Greek is the mother of all languages – pretty much. Most Greeks are fluent English speakers – close to 50% of the population to be exact. Still, on our trip we will face certain challenges as we will visit little villages untouched by the constant wave of tourists arriving in Greece each year. Don’t worry, though, one of our partners, fluent in both Greek and English, will always be by your side to overcome any language barriers allowing you to fully enjoy the tour experience.
