The beaches of Sifnos

  • Kamares, the island’s port, has an excellent beach for those who want a quick and convenient swim before the ferry leaves.
  • Apokofto is next to the famous monastery of Chrysopigi. A quiet beach, with sand and tamarisks offering the perfect shade. Extra tip: the small taverna on the beach is ready to provide delicacies after the dives.
  • Chersonissos is for fans of excursions. It is a small village at the northernmost end of the island, where there is a small cove with fishing boats and beautiful waters.
