Our Story

When I started my company, I knew that Definitely Greece would not be a faceless corporation. I wanted this space to be where visitors can find a lot of extra information about Greece, be inspired to visit, relax their eyes with the warm blues and crisp whites of the Aegean or the lush green landscapes of our mountains.

Greece, to many, is the dream vacation of a lifetime: the islands and beaches, the ruins and museums, the food and wine. But, to me, Greece is home and Greeks are my people.
My passion is to share this wondrous and storied land, both the known and the not-so-known, with you.
On our trips, we will visit many different villages that tourism has left untouched and unexplored. A series of trips designed with care and lots of surprises will show you my country, my Greece, away from the queues and the tourist-laden spots; to meet the people, to taste the flavors, to explore the hidden paradise you have always dreamed of.

Our Story

The years before the pandemic

I shudder at the idea of tours that capitalize on popular depictions of Greece from movies and common misconceptions and yet never touch the soul of Greece.

As we grew, we focused even more on creating trips where visitors get to meet the locals, those who will not see you as a tourist and they will put in front of you authentic flavors and dishes to enjoy.

Now, don’t take this wrong, Santorini and Mykonos are beautiful, amazing destinations and both islands are high up ranking as top destinations. But! Is it the right place for you? Maybe!

My ultimate goal is for you to have a fantastic time while in Greece and write the best review in travel history for Definitely Greece here.

I know that this is not for everyone which is absolutely fine! But I want to be clear that we don’t serve fast food experiences or copy-paste itineraries.
